The Royal Borough of Greenwich has made an emergency order for a road closure at Lakedale Road to facilitate Thames Water who are carrying out repair and maintenance works on a sewer pipe.

The Order came into force on 14th April 2024. The works are expected to take at least 60 days.

(All Emergency orders could continue in force for up to 60 days if necessary or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner).

The effect of the Order would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, exiting, proceeding, or waiting (including waiting for the purposes of loading or unloading), in Lakedalet Road.

Lakedale Road will be closed at the junction of Plumstead High Street

The Diversionary route will be indicated by the placing of the appropriate signage.
