Erith & Thamesmead MP Abena Oppong-Asare Campaigning Summer School

The Member of Parliament for Erith and Thamesmead, Abena Oppong-Asare, wants to provide activities and opportunities that will empower and inspire young people to engage in politics and campaign for change.

That is why she is relaunching her free Campaigning Summer School to give young people the tools they need to bring the politics of hope to our local area and beyond. At this jam-packed 3-day summer school, young people aged between 16 and 18 will have the opportunity to gain the skills needed to make a real difference in our community.

Attendees will have a unique opportunity to see their ideas turned into action and to learn how they can make their voices heard in our democracy.

The school itself will be held in person in Erith and Thamesmead from Monday 25th July to Wednesday 27th July.
